APC and Refunds

Lumina Academic Publishing does not collect APC at submission. Payment is requested only after acceptance, unless waived by an authorized finance or publisher role.

Each journal clearly displays APC amount, currency, waiver eligibility, and whether submissions are currently open.

Waivers require an authorized actor and a recorded reason. Refund pathways are intentionally auditable and cannot be applied silently.

Refund eligibility and handling remain journal or publisher policy decisions and should be stated in the relevant APC policy language.

Invoices and payment transactions are preserved as part of the operational record and are not soft-deleted.

Finance-facing documents and actions are scoped so that reviewers and other unrelated roles do not see payment details.
